Our bonfire event is the first Saturday of October.  Carnival starts from the morning and goes long into the night after the fireworks have finished! 

 

We have stalls at the village hall, our exclusive heritage buses will run from 11am till 4pm, make sure you get a chance to ride on one of these wonderful vintage vehicles.

Road closures take place early evening, and the big build up begins! Visiting Societies, floats and procession participants gather, torches are lit and off we go!  Walkers get to have a 20 minute interval where refreshments can be purchased. 

 

We then continue to the end of our route at our firework site where the lighting of the bonfire and firework display continues.  Then it's back to the village at your leisure for drinks, and more entertainment in the square!
